Storage made easy: the large ID. Buzz Box is the flexible feature designed for quickly and efficiently storing all everyday things in the interior - between the driver and front passenger.

Thanks to the multifunctional, removable storage box, items such as drinks bottles, sunglasses and the like are easily arranged and accessible when you take a break. In addition to drawers with plenty of storage space, the mobile ID. Buzz Box also features a bottle opener and ice scraper built into the top shelf. With the box removed, you also have optimal access to the rear, with flexible space created between the front seats.

Digital cockpit, internet connection, mobile online services and integrated voice control - the new ID. Buzz offers the latest technology.

The cockpit of the ID. Buzz provides a shelf for almost everything - even for your smartphone, in which it can be charged inductively. You can conveniently transfer music, audio books or messages from your smartphone to the optional 12-inch colour touchscreen infotainment system using App-Connect, from which you can use to operate numerous functions such as the DAB+ radio. In combination with the seven standard USB-C ports, the ID. Buzz offers other excellent networking and entertainment.

The smart services from We Connect9 connect your ID. Buzz with the World and transform your smartphone into a remote control with the We Connect ID. App. This way, you always have an eye on your vehicle and can control some features remotely.

Light Design

Modern lighting that communicates with you

A large part of the unique appearance of the ID. Buzz is the modern lighting design. In conjunction with the standard Keyless Advanced locking and starting system, when you approach the vehicle, its LED matrix headlights (only on Style) pivot and light up with a friendly “open eye” as a greeting.

You are then welcomed by the interactive light in the ID. Buzz’s interior along with a subtle sound, with the ambient lighting ensuring a pleasant atmosphere throughout the journey. A total of two colours can be selected at the same time with brightness configurable separately and individually for four areas.

Thanks to the "Coming & Leaving Home function", the ID. Buzz brings light in the dark by lighting up the path ahead.

Depending on if you have opted for the Life or Style trim you will have a choice of either a 19” or 21” light-alloy wheels.

Connectivity & Technology

Over-the-air updates

Updates enhance the functionality of the digital systems in your ID. Buzz. With over-the-air updates10 via We Connect 9, it can automatically carry out updates overnight if you confirm it on your infotainment system. This means you’re always up-to-date with your ID. Buzz.

Car2X

Vehicles can communicate with each other in road traffic and warn each other of local danger spots. Car2X technology expands the range of a vehicle’s sensors many times over by including information from other road and infrastructure users to assess the current overall situation. Smart software and electronics increase safety to a new level. An example of this is the “Local Warnings” service. The ID. models communicate with each in a range of 800 metres within milliseconds. Thanks to their numerous sensors, the electric vehicles quickly detect potential hazards – and automatically warn other road users in the vicinity via a Wi-Fi radio signal. 

ID. Light

The ID. Light communicates visually with you and, in combination with the standard navigation system, helps you get through traffic more easily. If you use the voice control, you get a light signal in response to your voice. When you get out of your ID. Buzz, the ID. Light says goodbye – with an intelligent light signal.

Travel Assist with swarm data

Travel Assist with swarm data helps you to stay in lane, maintain the distance to the vehicle in front and keep to the maximum speed you set.11

To do this, one of the things it uses is adaptive lane guidance. This actively keeps the vehicle in the middle of the lane. Travel Assist with swarm data adapts to your driving style and instead of staying exactly in the middle, can keep the car further to the left or right in the lane.11

On the motorway, Travel Assist with swarm data can also actively help you when changing lanes.11

If the data is available, Travel Assist with swarm  data just needs to detect the edge of the road in order to stay in lane, for example on country roads without a marking along the middle.11

In addition, Travel Assist with swarm data features predictive cruise control and cornering assistance. The vehicle speed can be adjusted to the applicable speed limits as well as the course of the road (curves, roundabouts etc.).11
Important information :

All vehicles are tested according to WLTP technical procedures. Figures shown are for comparability purposes; only compare fuel consumption, CO2 and equivalent electric range figures with other vehicles tested to the same technical procedures. These figures may not reflect real life driving results, which will depend upon a number of factors including the accessories fitted (post-registration), variations in weather, driving styles, vehicle load (and, for battery electric vehicles, the starting charge of the battery). Figures for plug-in hybrid vehicles were obtained using a combination of battery power and fuel. Plug-in hybrid vehicles require mains electricity for charging. Figures for battery electric vehicles were obtained after the battery had been fully charged. Battery electric vehicles require mains electricity for charging. Zero emissions while driving. Fuel consumption for battery electric vehicles is not applicable. Figures quoted are subject to change due to ongoing approvals/changes and range figures may include options not available in the UK. Please consult your Van Centre for further information. The vehicle specification shown on the website and brochures may vary as Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles UK review the model range line up throughout the year. Manufacture of the ID.Buzz is independently certified net carbon neutral, based on both emission reduction and offsetting. Audited quarterly. Excludes use & lifecycle post-handover.

New ID. Buzz customers who place an order from the 1st November 2022 - 3rd January 2023 and complete the installation before 31st December 2023 can receive a Ohme 7kW home wall box with standard installation. UK homeowners (or renters with landlord's permission) age 18+ with off-street parking at their property only. 

The wall box is only available for retail customers financing their ID. Buzz through Volkswagen Commercial Vehicle Financial Services on Personal Contract Hire or Solutions Personal Contact Plan (PCP) by 3rd January 2023. Fleet customers are not eligible to participate in the offer. 

The wall box must be ordered from Ohme via a participating Volkswagen Commercial Vehicle UK Van Centre or Volkswagen UK Retailer at the time of ordering your new ID. Buzz. Please request the offer at the time of order and the Van Centre or Volkswagen Retailer will order your wall box. Wall boxes are not available retrospectively. Please speak to your Van Centre or Retailer for more information. 

Wall boxes are subject to availability and we reserve the right to withdraw this offer at any time. 

The wall box included in the offer is a 7kW Ohme Home Pro wall box with standard installation only. The availability of standard installation depends on various factors including the age and condition of the existing wiring at the property and the location of the nearest electricity point/meter. Standard installation is subject to survey. You will have the  option to choose between a untethered or tethered unit.

Supply, installation and maintenance of the wallbox will be subject to a separate contract between the customer and Ohme. Neither Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles UK or Volkswagen UK nor the Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles UK Van Centre or Volkswagen Retailer can accept any responsibility in connection with that contract and any customer queries or claims must be directed to Ohme. Customers will need to liaise directly with Ohme in connection with survey and installation. 

Any additional costs for example additional accessories, wall box upgrades, non-standard installation or installation after 31st December 2023 must be paid for by the customer. If the customer rents their property, then they are responsible for obtaining the landlord's permission for the installation. All other permissions and consents are also the responsibility of the customer.Wall box is only available for installation at a residential address owned by the ID. Buzz customer (or rented by the ID. Buzz, with the landlord's permission) with off-street parking and electrical capacity sufficient to support the wall box. Wall boxes are non-transferable and non-refundable and there is no cash or other alternative. However, Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles UK and Volkswagen UK reserves the right to include a different wall box and installation, of equivalent or greater value, within the offer. 

If an ID. Buzz order is cancelled after installation of the wall box, then the customer will be liable to repay to Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles UK the fees paid by Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles UK in connection with the wall box and standard installation. If the customer cancels an ID. Buzz order before the installation has taken place then no charges will be made and they will no longer be entitled to a wall box with standard installation through this offer. Remaining credit will be lost if the customer's We Charge contract expires or is terminated for any reason. Subject to availability and we reserve the right to withdraw this offer at any time. To use We Connect services, you need a Volkswagen ID user account and must log in to We Connect with your user name and password. A separate We Connect contract or We Connect Plus contract will also need to be made online with Volkswagen AG.For We Connect Plus you have 90 days after the handover of the vehicle to register the vehicle on www.portal.volkswagen-we.com and can use services free during this time. We Connect Plus is free of charge for the first year when you order Composition Colour or Discover Media navigation system. There is an extra charge in the event of renewal once the free period has expired.The Streaming & Internet package is only available in conjunction with the optional Discover Pro navigation system.The Lock & Unlock service is a security feature and requires a prior identity check by means of the Volkswagen ID procedure. This involves your identity being checked by a Volkswagen dealer or via video chat.

For over-the-air updates, the vehicle has to be online and connected to the internet. In addition, a valid We Connect contract is required.

The driver assist function can only be used within the limits of the system. The driver must be prepared at all times to override the assistance systems and is in no way released from the responsibility to drive the vehicle carefully. The process can be deactivated at any time. The system can be used up to the maximum speed of the vehicle. Only in combination with a navigation system. Only in combination with an active We Connect licence. The online components of Travel Assist with mass location data can only be used within the mobile network coverage and with corresponding privacy settings. The online component can be deactivated at any time in the We Connect ID. app. The online component of Travel Assist is available in the following countries: Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Cyprus, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, United Kingdom. To activate the online functions you need a Volkswagen ID user account and must log in with your user name and password to We Connect. You must also conclude a separate We Connect contract online with Volkswagen AG. After delivery of the vehicle, you have 90 days to activate the online function of Travel Assist with mass location data. After this period expires, the initial 3-year use period of the online component of Travel Assist with mass location data (free of charge) begins. The online component of Travel Assist with mass location data is enabled via an integrated internet connection. The data costs incurred within Europe as part of network coverage are borne by Volkswagen AG. Depending on your mobile phone tariff, data exchange over the Internet may incur additional charges (e.g. roaming charges), particularly if you are using the service abroad. In order to provide the service, certain personal data such as the location and IP address of the vehicle must be transmitted. Further information on data processing can be found in the privacy policy for Travel Assist with mass location data. The availability of the individual services described in the packages may vary in individual countries. These services are available for the duration of the agreed contract period and may be subject to changes of content or even terminated during the contract period. Total recommended price of the vehicle includes VAT & OTR. On the Road (OTR) includes: First Registration Fee, Delivery to Van Centre, Vehicle Excise Duty (VED) and Number Plates. Pricing subject to change including in the event of change in the applicable VED or VAT rates. Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles may change RRPs at any time (this includes where there are government changes in regulation and/or legislation). There may be a delay to any RRP displaying correctly on our materials. Always obtain prices from your chosen Van Centre. From 1 April 2020, the official CO2 emissions values used to calculate Vehicle Excise Duty (VED) charges changed for all passenger carrier registrations in the UK, due to a change in the method of testing. This will affect the recommended 'on the road' price you pay (in most circumstances, prices will increase). Choice of wheels and other options may affect fuel consumption and emissions data (which may affect the amount of VED payable and therefore the ROTR price).
